Сьогодні – День скорботи і вшанування пам’яті жертв війни в Україні

22 червня Україна вшановує пам’ять мільйонів людей, чиї життя забрала Друга світова війна. Саме цього дня у 1941 році війна увірвалася в українські міста й села, залишивши по собі незліченні втрати, зруйновані долі та глибокий біль, який передається від покоління до покоління. Сьогодні ця дата набуває для українців особливого змісту. Уже п’ятий рік поспіль наша держава знову змушена боронити свою свободу та незалежність від російської агресії. Для харків’ян слово «війна» давно перестало бути лише сторінкою підручника історії. Воно звучить у сиренах повітряної тривоги, у спогадах про зруйновані будинки, у болючих звістках про загиблих захисників і мирних жителів. У День скорботи ми схиляємо голови перед пам’яттю всіх жертв воєн – тих, хто загинув у роки Другої світової війни, і тих, чиє життя обірвала сучасна російсько-українська війна. Пам’ятаємо воїнів, які віддали найдорожче за право України бути вільною державою. Вшановуємо мирних людей, чиї долі зламала війна. Для учнів і педагогів Харківського університетського ліцею цей день є нагадуванням про цінність людського життя, силу людської гідності та відповідальність за майбутнє своєї країни. Пам’ять про минуле має допомагати нам берегти правду, підтримувати одне одного та робити все можливе, щоб трагедії війни більше ніколи не повторилися.
